Refrigerators and freezers require certified refrigerant recovery before recycling, which adds a small state-related surcharge. We include it in your upfront quote, so there are no surprises.
Do I need to disconnect the appliance first?
Unplugged is ready to go. For gas appliances or hardwired units, we ask that the line or circuit be shut off first, and we'll walk you through it when you book.
What happens to my old appliance?
It gets recycled. Appliances are mostly metal, so we take them to recycling facilities where the materials are recovered instead of landfilled.
